An injured teenager was hospitalised on Wednesday (02Sep09) after falling into a pit used as a movie location at Boston Zoo in Massachusetts.
The former gorilla enclosure was dressed for scenes in funnyman Kevin James’ new film The Zookeeper, in which it doubles up as a lion’s den.
No animals were present during the drama.
The unnamed 16 year old was rescued by paramedics.
Zoo officials have launched an investigation into how a visitor found the pit, which is closed off to the public, and fell in.
