Jamshedpur, Aug 11 (IANS) At least 28 people, including 17 women, were arrested Wednesday from different beauty parlours in Jharkhand’s Jamshedpur city for their alleged involvement in a prostitution racket, police said.

‘Raids were conducted at several beauty parlours and a total 28 people, including 17 women, were arrested. The beauty parlours were involved in sex business,’ Senior Superintendent of Police (Jamshedpur) Akhilesh Jha told reporters.

According to police sources, searches would be conducted in more beauty parlours.
