New Delhi, Sep 2 (IANS) Railways conducted 207,104 checks and prosecuted 9,211 touts in railway stations and near reservation offices from April 2008 to July this year, parliament was told Friday.
This year, three railway officials posted at ticket counters and said to be directly involved in illegal sale of tickets were arrested by Railway Protection Force, Minister of State for Railways Bharatsinh Solanki told the Rajya Sabha.
