New Delhi, Oct 4 (Inditop.com) After suffering days of uncomfortable humidity, Delhiites Sunday morning received pleasant light showers turning it into an enjoyable holiday.
According to India Meteorological Department (IMD), the change in the weather was because of the easterly winds blowing into the capital, a result of the cyclonic circulation over central Pakistan and Maharashtra.
“The easterly winds blowing over Delhi are laden with moisture, therefore there have been traces of rainfall this (Sunday) morning. There will be more such light spells of rain over the next few days,” an IMD official said.
The humidity level recorded around mid day was 69 percent. And although the minimum temperature recorded early in the day was five notches above the average, at 25 degrees Celsius, the IMD predicted a fall in the maximum temperature.
“The maximum temperature will hover around 32 degrees Celsius,” the official added.
