New Delhi, Feb 14 (Inditop.com) A chilly, albeit sunny morning greeted Delhiites on Valentine’s Day Sunday. Weather officials said the chill was due to a drop in temperature thanks to the rain two days back.
“There has been a drop in temperature since the rain late Friday. Today (Sunday) the minimum temperature recorded was 10 degrees Celsius, which is average for this time of the year,” an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
Before the rains Friday, the minimum temperature was mostly above the average.
“It will be a clear day today. However, the skies will be partly cloudy later in the day,” the official added.
The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 25 degrees Celsius.
