New Delhi, Dec 29 (IANS) Delhi saw a sunny day after a chilly morning with the maximum temperature Sunday recorded at 19.5 degrees Celsius, one notch below normal. Light rains are likely Monday.
Monday’s maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 20 and 5 degrees, respectively, said an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official, adding that light rains are likely.
Flights operated normally in the capital Sunday though dense fog in parts of north India continued to affect trains coming to Delhi.
Visibility was 800 metres at 8.30 a.m.
The minimum temperature dipped three notches below average at 4.4 degrees Celsius.
