New Delhi, Dec 29 (IANS) It was a cold day for Delhiites Thursday, with thick fog in the morning making way for pleasant sunshine later in the day. Conditions are expected to be similar Friday, the weather office said.
The minimum temperature Thursday was recorded at 6.8 degrees Celsius, a notch below average, while the maximum touched 22.3 degrees — two notches above average for this time of the season.
Humidity wavered between a high of 97 and low of 47 percent.
According to the India Meteorological Depertment (IMD), Friday morning will see foggy conditions, though the day is expected to be clear.
The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 23 and 7 degrees respectively.
