New Delhi, Dec 14 (Inditop.com) Delhiites woke up to a relatively cold Monday morning with the mercury dipping and the weather office forecasting a light rainfall over the next two days.
The national capital recorded a minimum temperature of 9.4 degrees Celsius, a notch above the average for this time of the year.
The maximum temperature recorded Monday was also a degree above average, at 24.6 degree Celsius.
“Over the next two days, Delhi would see partly cloudy skies with a possibility of light rain and thundershower,” said an official of the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD).
“Temperatures may fall further on Wednesday,” the official added.
The maximum and minimum temperature in the city on Tuesday are likely to settle at 25 degrees Celsius and 11 degrees Celsius respectively, the weather office added.
The coldest day of the season so far was Nov 28 when the minimum temperature dropped to 7.9 degrees Celsius.
