New Delhi, May 18 (Inditop.com) At 32 degrees Celsius, Delhi Tuesday recorded the highest minimum temperature in May in the last five years, the weather office said.

“The minimum recorded temperature for Tuesday was 32 degrees, which was five notches above normal this time of the year,” an India Meteorological Department official told Inditop.

The record came a day after the maximum temperature broke an eight-year record. The day temperature Monday was 45.4 degrees.

Delhi can expect the maximum temperature to hover around 44 degrees Celsius Tuesday. There could also be a thunderstorm in some parts of the city.
