Ranchi, Aug 28 (IANS) Four people, including a girl who fell into a well and three others who tried to rescue her, were killed and three injured when the wall of the well caved in Saturday in Jharkhand’s Chhatra district, police said.
According to police, Chandni, 13, fell in a well in a village near Giddor police station and six people went in to save her.
The condition of the three people who were rescued was said to be serious and they have been referred to the Rajendra Institute of Medical Science (RIMS) for treatment.
Chhatra is around 170 km from Ranchi.
