Kaushambhi (Uttar Pradesh), Feb 28 (IANS) Four mutilated bodies, including those of two minor girls, were found lying near the railway tracks in Uttar Pradesh Monday, police said.

The bodies were recovered from near the tracks in Rudauli town, some 250 km from Lucknow.

According to police, it appeared the four victims were from the same family. The victims include a man, a woman and two girls aged around 6-8 years.

‘We are yet to establish whether it’s a case of murder, suicide or accidental death. As all the four bodies have been badly mutilated, we are facing difficulty in their identification,’ Superintendent of Police Kripashankar Singh told reporters.

‘We cannot rule out foul play. It may be possible that the four may have been killed somewhere else and their bodies were thrown on the tracks to make it look like an accident,’ he added.
