New Delhi, Dec 26 (IANS) The Delhi gang-rape victim, battling for her life, was late Wednesday night shifted out of Safdarjung Hospital in an ambulance and taken to the Delhi airport, from where she will be flown abroad for treatment, airport sources said.
Her destination, however, was not immediately known.
The condition of the 23-year-old victim, a physiotherapist from Uttar Pradesh, remained critical even 10 days after the sexual assault in a moving bus, as she spent a bulk of the time after the Dec 16 on ventilator.
On Tuesday she gave a statement to a magistrate – for a second time following complaints of alleged police interference the first time it was recorded Dec 21. All six accused have been arrested for the crime.
