New Delhi, May 30 (IANS) It was a hot beginning for the week in Delhi as the mercury remained above 40 degree Celsius Monday. Tuesday may be cooler with the possibility of duststorms, a met official said.
The maximum temperature recorded Monday was 40.6 degrees Celsius, one degree above average, according to the India Meteorological Department. The minimum temperature was a notch below average at 26.3 degrees.
‘The sky is likely to be partly cloudy Tuesday. There is also the possibility of
duststorms towards the evening,’ an IMD official said.
According to him, the temperatures could be between 39 and 27 degrees Celsius.
