New Delhi, April 3 (IANS) It was a hot day in the capital Tuesday with the sun playing hide and seek with the clouds and the temperatures settling above average. The met office has forecast similar weather Wednesday.

The day’s maximum and minimum temperature both settled five notches above average at 38.7 and 24 degrees Celsius.
The maximum humidity was 66 percent and the minimum was 30 percent.
According to the India Meteorological department (IMD), the skies will remain partly cloudy Wednesday and the maximum and minimum temperatures will be around 38 and 25 degrees Celsius.
Monday’s maximum temperature was 37.6 degrees and the minimum was 22.3 degrees Celsius – both four notches above average.
