New Delhi, Aug 30 (IANS) It was a hot and humid day in the national capital Tuesday with no rain. The maximum temperature settled at 36.7 degrees Celsius, three notches above the average for this time of the year.
The met office has predicted thundershowers in some parts of the city Wednesday.
‘Skies will remain partly cloudy with possibility of thundershowers Wednesday,’ an official of the India Meteorological Department said.
The minimum temperature Tuesday was recorded at 28.1 degrees, two notches above the average.
The humidity registered a high of 85 percent.
The maximum and minimum temperatures Wednesday will hover around 36 and 28 degrees Celsius, respectively, the weather office predicted.
