New Delhi, July 31 (IANS) The week ended on a hot note for Delhi residents as the skies remained partly cloudy Sunday and the maximum temperature settled three notches above average at 37.2 degrees Celsius. Monday too is expected to be cloudy yet dry.
‘The minimum temperature was a notch above average at 28.3 degrees Celsius,’ an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
‘The humidity levels wavered between a high of 83 and a low of 53 percent,’ the official added.
According to IMD, Monday will see similar weather conditions.
‘There is no possibility of rain tomorrow (Monday) and the maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover around 36 and 28 degrees Celsius,’ the IMD official said.
Saturday’s maximum temperature was 34.6 degrees Celsius, a notch above average while the minimum settled at 27.6 degrees Celsius, a notch below the average.
