New Delhi, July 16 (IANS) It was a hot morning in the capital with the minimum temperature settling at 28 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season’s average. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast light rain and thundershower in some areas of the city.

“The skies will remain generally cloudy with rain and thundershower in some areas of the city,” said an IMD official.
“The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 35 degrees Celsius,” he added.
Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 35 percent.
Monday’s maximum temperature settled at 36.4 degrees Celsius, three notches above average, while the minimum temperature settled at 28.2 degrees Celsius, average for this time of the year.
