New Delhi, Dec 3 (IANS) India drew 1-1 with Afghanistan in their first match of the SAFF Cup football tournament at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium here Saturday.
Afghanistan took an early lead in the fifth minute with a brilliant strike from Balal Arezo. India found the equaliser five minutes later with a header from Sunil Chettri, who is fresh from the trials with Scottish giants Rangers.
