Kolkata, Sep 1 (IANS) Kolkata High Court judge Soumitra Sen resigned Thursday. Sen, against whom the Rajya Sabha has passed an impeachment resolution, sent the resignation letter to President Pratibha Patil, his lawyer Subhash Bhattacharya said.
He was to face impeachment proceedings in the Lok Sabha next week.
