New Delhi, April 29 (Inditop.com) The capital Thursday witnessed light drizzle in some parts, bringing relief to the residents and the Met Office has forecast thundershowers late Friday. The mercury level, however, remained above the average.
“There is a cyclonic circulation over Rajasthan because of which there is a light drizzle in Delhi. The skies will be cloudy tomorrow (Friday) with a possibility of thundershowers in the evening,” an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) told Inditop.
“The rainfall was, however, in traces,” the official added.
The minimum temperature recorded early Thursday was three degrees above the average, at 26.4 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature also settled three notches above the average at 41.4 degrees Celsius.
The humidity was recorded at 53 percent.
