New Delhi, April 30 (IANS) A man was arrested in the national capital with 350 grams of heroin worth Rs.35 lakh in the international market, police said Saturday.
‘The accused has been identified as Kishan Mohan Gupta, 43. The amount of heroin recovered is worth Rs.35 lakh in the international market,’ said Deputy Commissioner of Police Ashok Chand.
Acting on a tip-off,the police nabbed Gupta from Bhajanpura in east Delhi where he had come to deliver heroin to a contact, the officer added.
Gupta revealed that he was a drug addict. He started working for a drug trafficker in Nehru Vihar. He was paid Rs.10,000 for delivery of each consignment, police said.
