New Delhi, Dec 6 (IANS) Inspired by Bollywood films, a 26-year-old school dropout posed as the secretary to Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit and cheated people on the pretext of getting them jobs. He has been arrested from west Delhi, police said Tuesday.

Gulshan Sharma, who hails from Punjab, was arrested from Uttam Nagar Monday. He duped people by posing as an aide to Vice President M. Hamid Ansari.

‘We received a complaint from one of his victims who paid him around Rs.25,000 for a job in the Delhi secretariat. He is an accused in six more cases of cheating and forgery,’ said a police official.

‘He is a die hard fan of actor Ajay Devgan. He was inspired by his films like ‘Raajneeti’ and ‘Apaharan’,’ added the official.

Police have recovered fake appointment letters and visiting cards from Sharma’s residence.
