New Delhi, Aug 4 (IANS) A 42-year-old employee of a private firm was found murdered in his east Delhi house Wednesday, police said, suspecting his absconding brother-in-law’s involvement.
According to police, the murder was reported at 3.30 pm when an electric meter reader visited victim Sattu Prasad’s house and found him dead in his Vishawas Nagar house in east Delhi.
‘Prasad’s brother-in-law Ramesh, who lives with him, is absconding. We are further investigating if it has a connection with the murder,’ said a police official.
Prasad worked for a private firm. ‘The motive of the murder is still under investigation. Both of them are originally from Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh,’ the official said.
