Ranchi, Dec 2 (IANS) A Maoist guerrilla was killed in a gun battle with the police here Thursday evening, police said.
The hour-long gun battle took place in a jungle falling under Budmu police station during a search operation, a police officer said here.
The guerrilla belonged to People’s Liberation Front of India (PLFI) and one rifle, live cartridges and explosives were recovered, he added.
