Guwahati, May 31 (IANS) The Government Railway Police (GRP) Thursday seized 2 kg of morphine from the New Delhi-bound Rajdhani Express in Guwahati, police said.
According to police, two persons including a woman were arrested in this connection under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substance (NDPS) Act.
“The arrested duo were assigned by an unidentified person to ferry the substance to Bihar and were promised Rs.10,000 for the job. Their interrogation is on,” a police officer said.
