New Delhi, June 30 (IANS) It was a muggy and cloudy day in Delhi as the city recorded high humidity levels despite the maximum temperature settling two notches below the season’s average at 34.3 degrees Celsius. The Met office has forecast rain for Friday.
‘The skies will remain partly cloudy tomorrow (Friday) and there is a possibility of light showers in some parts of the city,’ an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
‘The maximum and minimum temperatures will hover around 35 and 27 degrees Celsius,’ he added.
No rains were recorded in the national capital till 5.30 p.m. Thursday, but the humidity levels were high with the the maximum and minimum settling at 90 and 58 percent respectively.
The minimum temperature recorded was 26.7 degrees Celsius, which is normal for this time of the year, said the IMD official.
