New Delhi, Sep 19 (IANS) Indigo, one of Mumbai’s first standalone fine dining restaurants, is set to open an outlet in the capital next month.
The 15-year-old brand is moving out of Mumbai for the first time and will open the eatery in Chanakyapuri.
Indigo, a flagship brand of deGustibus Hospitality Pvt Ltd, focuses on five things — innovation, great food, warm hospitality, attention to detail and customers, said Rahul Akerkar, its managing director.
“Just as in Mumbai, Indigo in New Delhi will be a back-to-basics address that will serve up eclectic modern European fare, coupled with an expansive bar and a private dining section,” Akerkar said in a statement
“The food is fundamentally ingredient-driven and contemporary in construction with strong and distinct flavours, bearing Indian and Asian influences,” he said.
Indigo has joined hands with House of Sunrydge for Delhi outlet.
“In House of Sunrydge, we found the perfect partners to team up with in terms of a shared vision. The space was simply right for our foray in New Delhi. We are excited about expansion and look forward to receive an encouraging response from the discerning foodies of New Delhi,” said Anurag Katriar, director, deGustibus Hospitality.
