Bhubaneswar, March 28 (IANS) Odisha capital Bhubaneswar Friday recorded 41.3 degrees Celsius, the season’s highest so far in the state, while seven other towns recorded maximum temperature of 40 degrees Celsius and above, an official said.
Bhubaneswar’s temperature was the season’s highest so far, an official of the Bhubaneswar meteorological centre told IANS.
Seven other towns where mercury soared to 40 degrees and above are Chandbali (40.1), Angul (40.3), Baripada (40.2), Jharsuguda (40), Bhawanipatna (40.5), Bolangir (40.5) and Titlagarh (41).
The heat wave conditions will continue to prevail over most part of the state for the next one week, he said.
