New Delhi, Feb 6 (IANS) It was a pleasant Thursday in the capital with brief spells of rain in some areas. The Met office has forecast a cloudy day with light rain Friday.
“Friday will remain cloudy and very light rain is expected in some parts of the city. There will be moderate fog in the morning,” said an official of the India Meteorological Department.
Friday’s maximum and minimum temperatures would be around 25 and 11 degrees Celsius.
The maximum temperature recorded Thursday was three notches above average at 25.6 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature was 10 degrees Celsius, one notch above the season’s average.
Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 95 percent.
According to Northern Railway, seven trains were rescheduled, one was cancelled and 19 were delayed due to fog in the northern parts of the country.
Wednesday’s maximum temperature was recorded at 24.8 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season’s average, while the minimum was 11.8 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season’s average.
