New Delh Sep 30 (IANS) Light rains and cool winds made for a pleasant Monday in the national capital with the maximum temperature recorded three notches below average at 31.4 degrees Celsius. The met department has forecast similar weather conditions Tuesday.
Minimum temperature Monday settled 22.7 degrees Celsius which was average for this time of the season, while humidity wavered between a high and low of 92 and 72 percent.
“The sky would be cloudy and light rain is expected on Tuesday,” said an official of India Meteorological Department.
The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 33 and 23 degrees respectively.
