New Delhi, March 2 (IANS) The week ended on a pleasantly sunny note in the capital as the skies remained clear throughout the day and the maximum temperature settled five notches below the season’s average at 21.8 degrees Celsius. The weather is expected to be similar Monday, the Met office said.
“There will be light fog early morning tomorrow (Monday). The afternoon will be sunny and the evening will be pleasant,” said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover around 23 and 9 degrees Celsius, respectively, the official added.
Sunday morning was foggy and chilly. The minimum temperature was recorded three notches below average at 10.0 degrees Celsius.
Saturday’s maximum temperature was recorded at 20.5 degrees Celsius, six notches below the season’s average, while the minimum was 12 degrees Celsius, average for the season.
