New Delhi, Feb 11 (IANS) It was a pleasant Tuesday in the capital with clear skies while the maximum temperature was recorded two notches below the season’s average at 21.6 degree Celsius. The met office has forecast similar weather Wednesday.
“The sky will remain clear Wednesday but shallow fog is expected in the morning,” said an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official.
Wednesday’s maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to be around 21 and 5 degree Celsius respectively.
Tuesday morning was chilly as the minimum temperature settled five notches below the season’s average at 5.6 degrees Celsius.
The railways said that four trains arriving in Delhi from other parts of north India were running late due to fog.
Monday’s minimum temperature was 4.6 degrees Celsius, five notches below the season’s average, while the maximum was three notches below the season’s average at 20 degrees Celsius.
