New Delhi, Feb 18 (IANS) Delhi saw a pleasant Tuesday with the maximum temperature at 23.2 degrees Celsius, one notch below the season’s average. Met has forecast warmer weather Wednesday.
The maximum and the minimum temperature Wednesday are likely to hover around 29 degree Celsius and 9 degree Celsius.
“The day will start with a shallow fog in the morning which will get clear as the day progress and the afternoon will remain partially cloudy,” said an1 official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
According the Northern Railway, 16 trains ran late due to the foggy weather in some of the northern parts of the country.
However flights operated without any delays, said the spokesperson of the Indira Gandhi International airport.
Tuesday’s minimum temperature settled a notch below the season’s average at 9.5 degrees Celsius.
Delhi experienced a pleasant Monday as the maximum temperature settled three notches below the season’s average at 21.5 degrees Celsius, while the minimum was recorded a notch below average at 9.6 degrees Celsius.
