Shimla, April 24 (Inditop.com) Rains in Himachal Pradesh Saturday brought down the temperature, with the weatherman forecasting better times across the state.
Shimla and nearby areas saw moderate rains Saturday noon. “There are reports of rainfall across the state too,” Manmohan Singh, director of the meteorological office here, told Inditop.
He said the higher reaches of Kinnaur and Lahaul and Spiti districts experienced mild snow.
“Chitkul town in Kinnaur district saw 30 cm of snowfall whereas Sangla and Kalpa in the district saw rain Friday night,” he said.
While Shimla town saw a maximum of 25 degrees Friday, it was 15.5 degrees Celsius at Kalpa in Kinnaur district.
