New Delhi, March 29 (IANS) Delhi experienced a pleasant day Friday with the maximum temperature settling four notches below average at 28 degrees Celsius as the city also saw light showers during the day. Saturday is likely to have clear weather.
The city received 6 mm of rainfall till 6 p.m. Friday, the Met office said.
The day’s minimum temperature was 17.5 degrees Celsius, a degree below average, while humidity levels ranged between a high of 91 percent and a low of 55 percent.
The Met office has forecast mainly clear weather Saturday.
“Saturday morning will be misty. The sky will remain partly cloudy but will clear up towards the evening,” said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The maximum and minimum temperatures Saturday are likely to hover around 30 and 17 degrees Celsius, respectively, added the official.
The maximum temperature Thursday was two notches above average at 33.7 degrees Celsius, while the minimum was two notches below average at 16 degrees Celsius. The capital also received 4.3 mm of rainfall Thursday.
