Lucknow, July 30 (IANS) Having left major rivers overflowing, rainfall in most parts of Uttar Pradesh will decline from Saturday, an official said.
‘With the weakening of cyclonic circulations, rainfall activity in parts of Uttar Pradesh, particularly central and eastern regions, will now slow down,’ J.P. Gupta, state Met office director told reporters here in the capital.

It would be a relief for people living in low lying areas or flood-prone villages in various districts, including Bahraich, Gonda, Balrampur, Barabanki and Lakhimpur Kheri.
