New Delhi, Aug 9 (IANS) It was another hot and humid day for Delhi Monday. There is no respite in sight with weather officials predicting increased humidity levels in the next few days.

‘The humidity level will increase in the next few days,’ said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

The maximum temperature was four notches above average at 37.6 degrees Celsius, while the minimum was two notches above the average at 28.4 degrees Celsius, the official said.

The maximum humidity recorded was at a high of 85 percent and minimum at 52 percent.

The total recorded rain for this season till Monday evening was 320 mm.
