New Delhi, April 23 (IANS) It was a clear and sunny day in Delhi Monday with the maximum temperature settling two notches below the average at 36 degrees Celsius. The met office has forecast rain Tuesday.

“The skies will remain partly cloudy tomorrow (Tuesday) and light rains are expected in some parts of the city,” said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
Tuesday’s maximum and minimum temperature are expected to hover around 36 and 23 degrees Celsius.
Monday’s minimum temperature was three notches below average at 19.7 degrees Celsius and the humidity levels wavered between a high of 73 and a low of 22 percent.
Sunday’s maximum temperature was two notches below average at 35.6 degrees Celsius while the minimum was 23.4 degrees Celsius, average for this time of the season.
