Shimla, Jan 17 (Inditop.com) This Himachal Pradesh capital remained sunny on Sunday with a minimum temperature of 7.7 degrees Celsius. The weatherman has forecast no fresh rain or snow in the state.
“Shimla recorded a minimum temperature of 7.7 degrees Celsius, six degrees above average for this time of the year,” Manmohan Singh, director of the meteorological office here, told Inditop.
Keylong in Lahaul and Spiti district and Kalpa in Kinnaur saw lows of minus 10.1 degrees and minus 4.1 degrees Celsius, respectively. The night temperatures in the regions were, respectively, minus 11.9 degrees and minus 4.8 degrees Celsius Saturday.
“The temperature was normal in Keylong and Kalpa for this time of the season,” Singh said.
Elsewhere, Sundernagar in Mandi district recorded a minimum of 1.8 degrees Celsius while it was 4.6 degrees in Dharamsala and 1.8 degrees Celsius in Bhuntar in Kullu district.
The met department has predicted dry weather in the state Monday.
