New Delhi, May 2 (IANS) Delhi had a clear, bright day Wednesday though the maximum temperature still remained a notch below normal at 37.7 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature had dipped even lower — four notches below normal — to 20.5 degrees Celsius.

The day’s maximum and minimum humidity was recorded at 62 and 15 percent, respectively.
The weather department forecast that the pleasant weather would continue Thursday.
“The skies are likely to remain mainly clear while the maximum and minimum temperatures should be 40 and 21 degrees Celsius, respectively,” an official at the India Meteorological Department told IANS.
Tuesday had seen a maximum temperature of 36 degrees Celsius while the minimum temperature was recorded at 21 degrees Celsius.
