New Delhi, Jan 31 (Inditop.com) The national capital Sunday saw a sunny but cold morning with a drop in the minimum temperature. The weatherman also forecast a further dip in the mercury level next week.
Owing to cold winds blowing over Delhi, the minimum temperature dropped to 8.4 degrees Celsius, which is still normal for this time of the season. Delhi Saturday recorded a minimum of 12 degrees Celsius.
“The mercury is likely to come down further Monday with maximum and minimum temperatures settling around 21 degrees and 7 degrees Celsius, respectively,” an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said.
“The sky will remain clear due to the winds and this in turn will bring down the temperature,” the official added.
With the sky remaining clear, flight operations at the Indira Gandhi International (IGI) airport were normal for the fourth consecutive day.
