Sudha Chandran replaced in TV show

Dancer-actress Sudha Chandran has been replaced by Kunika Lal in Zee TV’s ‘Sanjog Se Bani Sangini’. She has been dumped because of her ‘irresponsible’ behaviour.

According to a source, Sudha used to go for out-of-town trips after confirming her presence on the sets.

‘Sudha had been creating havoc on the sets with her highly irresponsible behaviour and unprofessional attitude. You certainly do not expect a senior artiste to behave in such a way and we are tired of having to deal with it hence it’s been decided to replace her,’ said a source from the channel.

Sudha left for Thiruvananthapuram without giving the team any prior intimation of her departure.

‘If she doesn’t respect the sanctity of the contract that she has signed, then we certainly do not want to continue having her on the show. The content cannot be compromised due to her unprofessional behaviour and we will get someone else immediately,’ said a source on condition of anonymity.

The channel has found a suitable replacement in Kunika.

‘Sudha has been very indecisive, we are not shooting with her anymore. We were in talks with a lot of other actresses like Bindu, Shoma Anand, Pratima Kazmi and Sheeba Chadda, but there was some or the other problem. Finally, we have zeroed in on Kunika Lal. She is a wonderful actresses and was very excited about the role,’ the source added.
