New Delhi, May 3 (Inditop.com) After a relatively pleasant start to the week Monday, the met department has forecast the mercury level to rise once again Tuesday with the maximum temperature hovering around 40 degrees Celsius.
The minimum temperature recorded Monday was two notches above the average at 26.2 degrees Ceslius. The maximum temperature averaged around 38 degrees Ceslius.
“Rain and thundershowers over the weekend brought down the mercury level. However on Tuesday, the maximum temperature is expected to hover around 40 degrees Celsius,” an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
“The skies will also remain partly cloudy on Tuesday. The minimum temperature is expected to settle at 26 degrees Celsius,” the official added.
