New Delhi, July 26 (IANS) Two people were arrested Monday for murdering a man in the national capital, police said.

According to police, Deep Chand, 45 and Arvind, 20, murdered Mukesh, 45, as they suspected him of stealing their cycle and mobile phone.

‘On Thursday the three had a few drinks together and had an argument over the stolen articles. The two accused hit the victim on his forehead with a brick and then strangulated him,’ said a police official.

The accused were arrested from the roof top of a vacant house in Sharma Colony in north-west Delhi. Both have confessed to their crime, the official added.
