Ranchi, Jan 2 (IANS) Two people, including a woman, were axed to death in Jharkhand’s Gumla district Sunday over a land dispute, police said. Six people have been arrested.
According to a police officer, Padma Munda and Hegari Mundain, who were related to each other, were killed in Koinartoli village of Gumla district, some 140 km from Ranchi early Sunday.
Padma’s husband managed to escape in the attack, the police officer said.
