New Delhi, Feb 28 (IANS) Two brothers were shot dead here Friday by three people following a scuffle over a minor issue of overtaking a vehicle, police said.

Sahab Singh, 40, and Kaptan Singh, 35, were shot when the vehicle they were travelling in was reportedly stopped near their house in Bawana area by a man in a car at 10.30 a.m.
The man was furious as one of the victims did not allow him to overtake their car.
A neighbour of the victims told police that the duo had left for work and a few metres away from their home, the occupants of a car stopped them and got into a verbal argument over the issue of overtaking.
The men in the other car took out weapons and opened fire at the brothers and fled the scene, police said.
More than 10 rounds of bullets were shot at them. The two were taken to the Maharishi Valmiki Hospital where doctors declared them dead, police said.
Sahab received two bullet wounds in his neck while Kaptan was shot in his head.
“It was a case of road rage and we have launched a search operation to nab the killers,” Joint Commissioner of Police R.S. Krishnia told IANS.
Police said they have identified all the three assailants, who were from the same locality.
“Among the killers, one is Rahu alias Kala, who is a declared criminal while the other two are his friends,” said a police officer.
Both the brothers were the only bread winners of the family. Their elder brother died a few months back and their younger brother is physically challenged.
