New Delhi, Aug 10 (IANS) A visually impaired couple was found murdered in their flat in east Delhi here, a police official said Tuesday.
Rajendra, 52, and Shobha, 50, who were living alone in the flat, were strangled to death Monday night.
‘Their bodies were recovered from the Janata flat in phase-I of Vivek Vihar area last (Monday) night. The couple has three married daughters, who are also blind and living separately,’ a police officer said.
Police said they suspect the couple’ two tenants, who were missing from the scene ever since the murder took place.
‘The bodies have been sent for post-mortem. Investigations are on,’ the officer added.
