Chandigarh, Nov 15 (Inditop.com) Temperatures are expected to dip in the next few days in Chandigarh as the skies continue to remain overcast paving the way for isolated rain in various parts of the city. The weatherman said this marks the “advent of the winter”.

“We are expecting the clouds to prevail in the region with isolated rainfall for the next few days. The environment here is very stable with very little or no wind blowing, so it is the indication for dense fog in the coming days,” Chandigarh meteorological centre director Chatar Singh Malik told Inditop.

“Today’s (Sunday’s) minimum temperature in Chandigarh is 14 degrees Celsius. We are expecting both day and night temperature to fall in this region in the coming few days. We can mark it as the real advent of winters,” he said.

Clouds prevailed in the region both Saturday and Sunday, forcing many people to stay inside. It also reduced the visibility level.
