New Delhi, Dec 27 (IANS) A woman in her late 30s was gang-raped by three people and dumped in a south Delhi locality, police said Thursday. One of those accused has been detained.
The victim was found lying on the roadside in the Kalkaji area of the capital around 10 p.m. Wednesday. Police said the other two accused are auto-drivers.
A case has been registered at the Kalkaji police station and the woman has been admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS).
The incident took place days after a 23-year-old physiotherapist was gang-raped and brutally tortured by five men and a juvenile in a moving bus in the city.
