Islamabad, March 28 (Inditop.com) At least 19 militants were killed Saturday in separate operations carried out by Pakistan military in the restive northwest tribal region.
The security forces pounded militants’ hideouts with the help of jet planes in Sultanzai, Mamuzai, Dabori, Bagram, Baizot, Shadal and Anjani areas of Orakzai Agency, killing 13 militants and injuring scores others, Geo TV reported.
Eight militants’ hideouts were destroyed besides a cache of explosives in Baizot area.
In another operation in South Waziristan, six militants and a security man was killed.
